Chamber opera for three singers, two actors singers, a comedian builder and string quartet, electro-acoustic and video devices.

 

Real creation of a sound web in which a woman is taken, Wanda, who one day decides not to leave her home. What follows is a whirlwind of his relatives, friends, neighbors and others who by their energy will produce a tornado prevail. Everything is felt through a circular stage set where every voice quivering is included in this spider web that folds its instigator.

 

"Dust" is the operatic culmination of 12 years of collaboration with the author Olivier Cohen and theater director Urzsula Mikos, "Dust" is also the starting point of a total vision of the voice and its scenic implications. Spoken, sung, through the sprechgesang, the voice of Wanda is considered the epicenter where everything starts and where everything converges. The surrounding device is constructed with the aim to support and spread the word and action articulated through the interplay of actors and singers. No distinction in the staging singers or actors but a change of stamps and vocal practice. The set design is a central space constructed in real time by the builder actor. It gradually turns into video projection space and musical instrument at the end of the opera.
